Thank you to everyone who came to the ribbon-cutting for the Maryella and Elizabeth’s Children’s Corner at the Baldwinsville Public Library on July 27, 2023. We were overwhelmed with the turnout, and especially thankful for family and friends that traveled to be with us.

We want to acknowledge and thank some of the people and organizations that helped bring this project through to fruition. The Bville Connection, CNY Tuesdays, Susan Downey, the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation, and the Baldwinsville Rotary made significant monetary donations to this project.

Ashlee and Izzy Flood, Kelly and Molly Ivanchak, Margie and Haylee Chetney, Rebecca Croucher, and Marianne Falkenburg spent a tremendous amount of time last summer collecting and organizing donations for the fundraiser raffle and silent auction for the library. Thank you to all the local businesses who donated or sponsored last year‘s fundraiser. Mary Roulston, Kevin Delaney, and Holly Demar organized the 5K. So many others helped with putting the event together. We are grateful to all of you.

We are also thankful to each and every single one of you who supported the event in anyway by showing up, purchasing raffle tickets, donating or joining in the 5K. We live in such a wonderful community!

We hope that the children in our community will enjoy the Maryella and Elizabeth’s Children’s Corner for many years.
